Paul Watson – Director

Hi, I’m Paul, one of Passman Leonard’s managing partners and I’m a lead contact for our clients. I also have responsibility for marketing and business development and attend BNI Kensington regularly.

I have a long pedigree in financial accounting and business analysis and advice, having over 20 years’ experience in a variety of respected companies, including Grant Thornton and Clydesdale Bank. My experience includes preparing and supervising the preparation of accounts and audits for small businesses through to PLCs as well as reviewing business solvency and liquidity issues for Clydesdale Bank.

I enjoy the diversity of our client base and the rewarding feeling that comes from working closely with business owners to make a substantial difference to their personal and business circumstances.

Outside work, I’m a bit of a petrol head; I enjoy watching F1 motor racing and taking part in karting. I also like to keep fit by cycling and kayaking.

Puja Shah – Director

Hello, I’m Puja, one of the partners at Passman Leonard. My key responsibilities and strengths are as a specialist tax advisor. I have huge experience managing and closing HMRC investigations and complex queries. My expertise in tax enables me to make a positive financial contribution to our clients’ business growth by carefully managing their tax liabilities through my deep understanding of regulations, reliefs and allowances.

I’m also responsible for marketing at Passman Leonard and you will find me representing the firm at networking events as well as my groups at BNI Hogarth and Athena Barnes.

For our clients who would find it useful, I’m happy to converse with you in Gujarati, as well as English.

When I’m not busy helping clients manage their HMRC tax affairs, you can find me exercising – I love swimming, running and walking. For relaxation, I spend time painting and improving my embroidery skills.

My passion is for helping clients to reap the benefits of moving to paperless accounting so I love to work closely with them to help them meet their HMRC requirements simply and easily using streamlining and automation. I love technology so being able to dabble with lots of different systems makes me happy every day.

I’ve had many years’ experience working in practice as a Chartered Certified Accountant, so one of my greatest strengths is my ability to explain to clients in plain English (or Gujarati if you prefer) all the intricacies of their business and tax accounting to make everything very clear.

I’m a big sports fan so when I’m not at my computer, you’ll find me playing and watching a variety of games and sports. I particularly enjoy swimming and football. I also love to spend time outdoors, walking and hiking.

Anna Mazanowska -Qualified Accountant

Hello, I’m Anna and I love the diversity of work I’m involved in. My responsibilities include Preparing financial accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders as well as managing corporation, personal and VAT returns.

I’m fluent in Polish so if you speak Polish and would prefer to talk to me in your language, that’s fine by me.

Working at Passman Leonard is challenging in a good way because there are a wide variety of clients all with different business issues that we can help with.

I’m a nature lover so when I’m not working, you’ll find me camping and walking in the countryside. I’m also an avid baker which is always welcome in the office.

Sandev Bansal – Semi Senior Accountant
AAT, part qualified ACCA

I’m Sandev and I’m a part qualified accountant . I enjoy my role because it’s very varied and no two days are the same which keeps things interesting. My responsibilities include preparation of accounts, tax computations, bookkeeping and VAT returns.

I love communicating with my regular and new clients, whether in English, Punjabi or Swahili and the team always makes work fun. Personal development at work is very important to me so I am often exploring ways to increase my skills and knowledge.

My weeks are busy but so are my weekends as I work in the wedding industry as a DJ.

Ambreen Naveed – Assistant Accountant
MAAT, Studying towards ACCA Qualification

Hello, I’m Ambreen and I love being a part of Passman Leonard’s friendly and enthusiastic team. My role as assistant accountant includes accounts and financial statements preparation for limited companies and sole traders for a range of clients under my portfolio.  

I also prepare the tax returns for sole traders and CT 600 for limited companies including tax adjustments up to review stage. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients can be challenging but it’s also hugely rewarding when you manage to solve complex and long-standing queries with the Revenue.

I love to learn every day and Passman Leonard gives me and other team members great opportunities to expand and consolidate our skills and knowledge and to work with a wide range of clients I’m always happy to chat to them in English, Urdu or Punjabi. One of the best attributes of Passman Leonard is that it embraces flexible working which allows me to maintain balance in my family life especially as I’m a mum of two young children.

When I’m not working or head down studying, I like to go out with friends, cook and spend quality time with my family.

Charmaine Cardozo -Trainee Accounts Assistant
AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting, AATQB MAAT

Hi, I’m Charmaine and I’m training to be an accountant. I love working at Passman Leonard because I receive brilliant support from the senior team members. My responsibilities include preparing sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts, completing corporation, personal and VAT returns and managing monthly bookkeeping for a range of clients.

I enjoy working closely with clients, helping them to deal with finance issues and making sure their business runs as smoothly as possible. I can chat to clients in English, French, Hindi, and Konkani.

The thing I like best about my job is that it gives me the confidence and ability to learn something new each day. 

During my free time I love listening to music, reading, window shopping, and eating out.

Ewelina Onisk – Assistant Accountant
AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting

I’m Ewelina and as an assistant accountant, I have a varied role and interact with many clients. It’s my job to prepare the financial  accounts of LTD companies and complete corporation tax returns.  I’m also involved in preparing and submitting sole trader, partnership and personal self-assessment tax returns.

The best part of the job at Passman Leonard is the great atmosphere and friendly people. I love to help people and if need be, I can talk to clients in Polish.

In my free time, I enjoy photography, reading books and swimming.

Mehdi Bandarchi – Accounts assistant

Hello, I’m Mehdi and I am one of the accounts assistants at Passman Leonard. My responsibilities centre around preparation of accounts, processing payroll and completing tax returns.

Speaking to clients and helping to resolve their accounting or tax issues is the part of my job I enjoy most, although I also find the day-to-day account record keeping enjoyable as I know clients are relying on me to get their number right.

In my free time, I like reading, walking, listening to music and doing Zumba.

Michael Dear – Bookkeeper
Qualified by experience.

I’m Michael and I have one of the most important jobs – bookkeeping. If you don’t have accurate bookkeeping, then it’s impossible to produce the right accounts for our clients.

I get involved with standard monthly transaction recording, VAT accounting, Payroll and CIS for a wide range of our clients.

I like to spend my leisure time gardening, watching football, and visiting fine dining restaurants.

Todorka Chaykova – Practice AdministratorAAT Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping – Level 3

I’m Todorka and it’s my job to make sure the office runs like clockwork. Some of my duties include maintaining log of clients’ accounts filing due dates, company secretarial matters, answering the phone and message taking, all postal duties for the office, data entry, current clients’ data transfer to online system, archiving old clients and registering clients for VAT and self-assessment.

I’m fluent in English and Bulgarian.
